In "Space Security: What are the Threats," Todd Harrison describes threats to U.S. Space Systems and considerations if they were to be employed. The examples he uses are the Chinese anti-satellite (ASAT) missile and the Russian airborne laser. Additionally, he discusses four strategic lines of effort to bolster space-related deterrence.
