Poverty, fair labor standards, and global trade are important issues that connect deeply to intercultural interaction. i'm not here to tell you what to think about the issues raised in the film, but I am here to push to think about the intercultural connections that can exist between global consumers and global workers.

Question 1. How would you objectively describe the working conditions in the Tai Kuen Bead Factory? (How long are working shifts? How safe is the environment?
