Assignment: This course is connected to MnTC Goal 8, meaning that we need to "analyze speci?c international problems, illustrating the cultural, economic, and political differences that affect their solution and understand the role of a world citizen and the responsibility world citizens share for their common global future." Poverty, fair labor standards, and global trade are important issues that connect deeply to intercultural interaction. i'm not here to tell you what to think about the issues raised in the film, but I am here to push to think about the intercultural connections that can exist between global consumers and global workers.

Question 1. How would you objectively describe the working conditions in the Tai Kuen Bead Factory? (How long are working shifts? How safe is the environment?
