Problem
For this problem activity, you will continue to develop your research project. For this week you will discuss your research question "Does aging contribute to illness" how you plan to collect your data, and your target population. You will also analyze the ethics of your proposed research project.
Your submission should include the following:
Research Questions: First, list your research question. Next, answer the following:
1) Rationale: Discuss what you need to know to answer this question. This should be approximately a full paragraph.
2) Types of Data: Describe the types of data that will provide you with the information that you need.
3) Who: Briefly discuss the population from which your sample will be drawn and identify your sampling technique.
4) How: Describe how the data will be collected for the research question.
Ethics: Second, evaluate the ethics of your proposed research project. Include the following in your ethics section:
1) Protection from harm: Describe any potential risks that could arise from your proposed research project. Consider how you might mitigate these risks and work to protect your participants from harm.
2) Informed Consent: Discuss how you will ensure participants are fully informed and have provided clear willingness to participate in your project.
3) Privacy/Confidentiality: Discuss how you will ensure privacy and confidentiality for study subjects.
4) Knowledge of Results: Describe how you plan to debrief study subjects or provided them with results of your study.
5) Academic Integrity: Reflect on how you will maintain your academic integrity during the write-up of your research proposal.
