A long infinite wire is carrying a current I = 1.4 A and is parallel to the z-axis. A proton is moving with a velocity ~v along the y-z plane that forms an angle of 45 degrees with the y-axis. The proton is at a distance of 1 m from the wire.

(a) Describe the trajectory of the proton.

(b) What is the speed (i.e. the magnitude of the velocity) of the proton if the radius of its orbit is equal to 1 m? (c) What will be the spacing between two consecutive loops?
