You are the newly minted HR Director at an up-and-coming fashion label. Your company has recently ventured into the brick-and-mortar space, opening 24 stores throughout the US in the past two years. However, sales in the stores have yet to exceed online purchases and the CEO is considering cutting her losses and closing stores. You've been tasked with designing a training program for sales associates that will stimulate sales and customer loyalty.

Begin your response by explaining your training program using the six stages of the training design process. As you highlight the stages, make sure that you incorporate the following points:

  1. Describe the three elements in the needs assessment process. Make sure that you apply it to this scenario.
  2. How will you motivate sales associates to learn a new skill? Be sure to include at least three factors.
  3. Consider three different training methods and discuss the pros and cons of each before selecting one as the preferred method for your initiative.
