The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize students with the commonalities among typical business plan models.

Research a minimum of four typical business plan models.

In a paper of 1,000-1,500-words:

1. Compare and contrast these typical business plan models.
2. Describe the strengths and limitations of these models.
3. Compare these models to the business plan models in either Microsoft Project or Apple Merlin.
4. Select the model that you believe will work best for your assigned CLC Business Plan; explain your rationale for this selection.

Business plans allows a business organization to develop strategies and implement them for the growth of the company. It is a document which contains detailed information about the company, their cash flow, profits and losses. A business plan guides the management to achieve success in their business. Generally, there are several types of business plan models such as startup model, growth plan model, internal model, strategic model and operations model. This paper will focus on comparing and contrasting the advantages and disadvantages of startup model, internal model, strategic model and operations model. Furthermore, the paper will also focus on comparing these models with the business models of Microsoft Project. Moreover, the paper will also focus on selecting a business plan model for the assigned business plan.
