In your reading this week in Chapter 2, Murphy points to the Fugitive Slave Act as an example of a law that is so morally wrong that subjects would be justified in disobeying such law. In fact, it could be said that it would be the duty of citizens to disobey such a law, which leads to the concept of civil disobedience.

Describe the strategy of civil disobedience (nonviolent resistance) and provide a real-life example of this strategy being used currently or in the past in the field of environmental justice (such as a pipeline protest or climate change protest) or animal rights (such as a protest against state-sanctioned killing of wolves).
