For the selected concepts, you will describe each and demonstrate knowledge by expanding on ideas with scholarly support.

Use the following outline for the paper:

1. Title page (name, title of paper, date centered on the page, no graphics)

2. Introduction and purpose of paper

3. First of the two concepts/topic selected (share the name of the topic)

A. Academic definition of the topic with in-text citations for the source of the definition

B. Value that is added to the organization through the concept

C. Examples of the concept in practice in an organization

D. Risks of not utilizing the concept

E. Your personal evaluation of your own competencies (your own knowledge, skill, or abilities) in the concept

F. How you will continue to develop your competencies (your own knowledge, skill, or abilities) in the area and how you will apply the concept in your own organization. You may want to use a S.M.A.R.T.E.R. goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time Bound, Evaluated and Re-adjusted).

4. Second of the two concepts/topic selected (share the name of the topic)

Mechanics: Provide at least two scholarly sources for each of the two topics selected with corresponding in-text citations and full references. Scholarly sources are typically not websites but may include material shared in our course material or the course material from other courses. Include a title page and a reference page for the paper. Use topic headings to identify the segments of the paper, double spaced, 12 point font. Little or no graphics are expected.
