Case: This case requires you to identify sources of job stress and discuss how to reduce or eliminate the sources of stress. Assume you are the construction manager on a public building project. The project building design and location is controversial. The project involves multiple subcontractors and stakeholders. The work will be publicly scrutinized, and the schedule is tight. Everyone must be committed to meeting the milestones. Everyone must perform. The stress levels will get high and stay high.

Your assignment is to identify sources of stress on a building project and describe how you, as construction manager, can reduce or eliminate the sources of stress. All actions must be within your authority and be fiscally sound.
