Select a new product or service that you will then be responsible for creating and describing the Operations integration.

This session you will be required to write the following sections:

I. Product or Service - describe the product or service to be added to the company.

II. Company Information -

Mission - You should describe, in detail, the mission of the company and how you will integrate the operations of the NPD or NSD into that mission.

Strategic Objectives - You should describe, in detail, the operation strategic objectives and how they support the objective of the overall company as well as how this will be measured. This section should include Supply-Chain strategies A SWOT analysis would also be appropriate in this section.

Integration of operations- You should describe how the new product or service operations will be integrated into the overall company structure. This could include such things as org charts, etc.

Location plan - Where will the facilities for the NPD/NSD be located and why? Describe your strategy in locating the facility in this location.

III. Forecasting Information - Describe, in detail, the purpose, time interval and technique for your operation. Explain your reasoning and demonstrate your understanding of the technique to be used.
