Question 1: In this week's post, you will use the text and the resources provided to explain in your own words what you understand about the following topics. Respond to at least two classmates by the due date. Post your response by Wednesday of the module week and then respond to others by Sunday.

• As a teacher, you have decided on the content you are to teach. Now, the real work begins. Explain if your content will be declarative or procedural. Then, follow the guide in the text to help you outline your process. (pages 2 and 3)
• Incorporating diverse content when teaching any subject matter is important. Explain and provide an example of carrier content and how they can be included in a lesson.

Question 2:

Chapter 2 discusses many aspects of writing objectives. Any effective lesson plan must begin with specific objectives. Objectives must be SMART, (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound). As the teacher, writing clear objectives allows you to match activities and lessons with the intended outcome that will provide evidence of student learning.

• Describe the process for developing objectives from a standard and the importance of using Bloom's Taxonomy when developing and planning objectives.
