Consider a task- or decision-oriented scenario from your current or previous professional experience that can be supported using data visualization.

Assume you are to propose the development of this tool to the director of your department with the hope that, if approved, it will become a valuable resource that improves efficiency on the team.

Create a 2- to 3-page proposal that details the following specifications of this tool:

- Describe the proposed solution(s). Promote your first choice and optionally include an alternative solution along with rationale for why this alternative can also add value.
- Explain the proposed data representation strategies and the analytical value provided.
- Describe ways in which this tool will change the workflow of its users.
- Evaluate ways in which this tool can solve the stated problems. Describe the outcomes expected 3 months after the implementation of this tool.
Exclusions and Limitations: Consider and explain any reservations or anticipated productivity costs or potential setbacks regarding the use of this tool.
