For your topic, you may already have a topic you have chosen for another class that requires a research paper. You will be writing an annotation using the same resources you are required to use in your research paper assigned in that course. If you do not have a class that requires a research assignment, please select a controversial topic that interests you. ?
For your source, when you find your source in one of the library's databases, focus on why you chose this research article and how you will be using it in your paper. You must find documented evidence to support your topic and provide an annotation for the source. If you feel strongly about your position on the topic you have selected, back it up with reliable evidence you find in the library databases.
For the purposes of this assignment, WIKIPEDIA will not be considered an acceptable resource. You are required to use academic/scholarly articles. Blogs will not be accepted as credible sources.
Use the recommended website page on the Pierce College Library subject guide ONLY if you cannot locate enough information on your topic within the databases.
If you find that a source that does not allow you provide all of the information required for your annotation, do not use it.

A description of the results or findings of the study. This should include some data.
A description of the conclusions that were drawn, as well as information on further study on the topic and how those conclusions support your research.
