Where we live shapes our identities. It influences everything from the food we eat, to the language we speak, to the values we hold dear.
Most of us choose to live in places that reinforce our identities and we naturally gravitate towards people who are like us and people with whom we feel comfortable. As a result of globalization, however, we are increasingly likely to find ourselves interacting with people who are quite different from us.
Post at least three times to this discussion forum, following the guidelines below. Your posts should include responses to any questions asked of you, as well as replies to classmates. Provide a citation for any websites used to find information for your posts.
Note: A good site for population information is the U.S. Census site. Local Chamber of Commerce and tourism web sites are also excellent resources for this discussion.
