You will write an analysis that will focus on African American artistic expression as it pertains to dance, music, visual arts, and comedy.

? Choose one of your Discovery examples.

? Summarize the characteristics of the example.

o If you are writing about art, describe the piece by noting colors, impressions, subject matter and some information of the artist.

o If you are writing about dance then note the movements of the dancers. What music is chosen, how does the dance reflect black culture.
