You are an Airworthiness Engineer employed by independent CAMO, Shannon CAMO Services. Shannon CAMO Services have been approached by an Irish based lessor to provide transition CAMO services during a lease transition of a 10-year-old Boeing 737-800. The aircraft is currently on a Spanish registration and being moved to an Irish registration (both EASA).
1) Provide a high-level overview of what an Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) is, and its development and approval process for the subject aircraft.
2) Describe the "Phase" and "Block" maintenance philosophies, please include the positives and negatives of each and the dictating factors which would influence your decision to choose one over the other.
3) Describe what a Last Done, Next Due (LDND) status is, and how it is developed during a transition.
4) Describe the purpose and content of a bridging check.
5). Using the documents provided for the practical aircraft technical records identification exercise during the lecture, and the sample A, B, C lease transition records checklist provided insert the correct sub-folder where the record should be placed e.g. Doc 001 is an Export C of A and the delivery/redelivery book folder it should be located is A003
