You are staff in the customer service department.
Part 1 will be used to describe some of the key events, decisions, responsibilities, challenges, and issues that occurred during the prior week at your job that you had some involvement with. You can talk about customer successes, how you may have dealt with a difficult situation, interactions with your co-workers and supervisors, success stories, highs and lows, problems, and concerns. Provide at least one example of something you have learned or became better at doing over the course of the week.
Part 2 of your journal entry is where you will write a response to the discussion questions below.
Answer the following questions about customer service related to your current externship.
1) Describe the most five common customer service misconceptions or misunderstandings. Which of them do you see as having an influence on your own or your coworker's behavior toward customers?
2) In what way do you use social media in your externship? If you do not currently use social media, how do you think you can incorporate it into how you provide good customer service?
3) What are the needs of your customers? How well do the employees in your current place of work address those needs?
