QUESTION: Describe the mechanisms contributing to excitability changes in the auditory pathway during tinnitus

The legend should include an appropriate title, the materials and methods involved with the figure or the figure panels, the results (if applicable), any other details such as abbreviations or scale. If multiple panels are included, those should be labelled alphabetically and described sequentially.
If panels contain original published data, the relevance reference should be included as the first author's name followed by the year of publication (e.g. A:(...) adapted from Shore et al., 2016 or From Shore et al., 2016). The reference Shore et al., (2016) should then be included in the reference list in the appropriate format (see example on page 1)
