Sample: Jim Bridger was the mountain man know for he skill as the trapper and the guide to some wagon trains headed west. In mid-1820s, Bridger was following Bear River in utah to find it source. When a river ended, Bridger was standing on sandy shore looking at wide body of some blue water. The seagulls flew over he head. The air smelled like some sea air. He tasted some water. He realized it had some salt in it. He had found a Great Salt Lake.

Although he was still the trapper, Bridger turned to other means of the income after a decline of a beaver market in 1840's. In summer of 1841, Bridger and Henry Fraeb started building the crude structure on a west bank of a Green River. They built it for the trapping and trading base. Later the summer, a first wagonload of the missionary and the emigrant rolled up and the Fort Bridger was born. Jim did not recognize significance at moment, but in coming years he realized the potential of he crude building.
