Question: In the excel file available on eClass, you are provided with spontaneous data from a 2-year old child, Claire, interacting with her mother (Hill 1983). The data are from three time points: Session 1, age 24;1 (months;weeks); Session 6, age 25;2; Session 9, age 26;1. Note that the spelling conventions are those employed by Hill (no apostrophes, addition of hyphens, spacing between words). You will need to decide how to interpret these.

1. Grammatical morphemes (all sessions):

In the table below, describe the main characteristics of 3rd person singular agreement on lexical verbs in Claire's speech at each of the three sessions. Consider things like presence vs. absence of morphemes, variable use, etc. Include a couple of examples to support your observations (be sure to include the utterance numbers AND the example, not just one of the two). What changes, if any, occur over time?
