Assignment: Submit the Executive Summary

The content of your Executive Summary should follow the rubrics requirements, and that content should be in the Panopto presentation.

If your citations and source slide are not visible in your Panopto presentation, please submit the power point presentation document, in order for the evaluators to see your APA formatting.

Remember each slide should also include Presenter notes on the bottom of each slide.

The term "high level process of Affiliation" is used in Task 3. What this phrase means, is that you are required to describe the type of Affiliation structure you've selected. For example, you will describe if you chose a Joint Venture, a Clinically Integrated Network, or other...and describe why you believe this type of structure will work well for TPMC.

Having explored potential affiliates and having determined an affiliate partner in Task 2, you will now present your affiliation recommendation to the advisory board of Twin Pines Medical Center (TPMC) using an executive summary and a multimedia presentation.

Task

Tasks may not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc., unless specified in the task requirements. All other submissions must be file types that are uploaded and submitted as attachments (e.g., .docx, .pdf, .ppt).

I. Write an executive summary (suggested length of 1 page) by doing the following:

A. Describe the key features of the proposed affiliation and justify why this affiliation is important to TPMC.

B. Summarize the high-level process of association with the proposed affiliate organization.

C. Describe the opportunities and challenges of the affiliation for both organizations.

Include each of the following points in your description:

1. the benefits to the leaders, staff, and patients of TPMC
2. the opportunities offered by the affiliation for both organizations
3. the predicted challenges that implementing the affiliation would pose to each organization

Note: Your executive summary should be submitted separately from the presentation created in part B.

II. Create a multimedia presentation (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote) (suggested length of 5-7 slides and 2-3 minutes) for the board of directors at TPMC that incorporates the key points from the executive summary from part A. Include presenter notes in your presentation.

A. Visibly present the multimedia presentation while demonstrating the following qualities:

1. professionalism
2. confidence
3. strong and clear communication and presentation skills

III. Acknowledge sources, using APA-formatted in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.

IV. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
