TOPIC: Impact of information Technology on Management
Each Group is to investigate the aftermath of incorporating Information Technology upon their assigned organisation and write a report on how this alters the organisation's management aspects.
Moral presentation will be delivered based on the completion of the written oart.
The Group Assignment develops students' theoretical and technical skills in management as well as their written and oral presentation skills.
You are required to form a group With no more than THREE members commendng Week 4. You will be assigned companies to analyse the impact on information technology on management. It will be provided in week 4 in class and via Moodie site, i.e., on MyPIA.
Each member is fully responsible for the discussion, preparation, submission and presentation of the group assignment. Failure by a student to attend, contribute, submit, and present will result in the said student receiving a zero (0) mark weighting for this assessment task.
The Group Assignment is comprised of TWO parts:
Part A: Written Assignment
You must attach a completed, signed coversheet and a self and peer contribution evaluation form with your written assignment.
Part B: Oral Presentation
The presentation will be based on Part A, with each group required to give a presentation of duration between 6 to 10 minutes.

1. Describe how information technology is changing the workplace in today's organizations.
2. Choose two topics, and describe the impact of information technology.
Groups need to investigate the aftermath of incorporating Information Technology upon the given organisation and develop an analysis report on how this alters the organisation's management aspects.
Groups need to analyse the given organization, and provide discussion and answers to the questions above.
Groups need to base their assignments with appropriate management theories and other relevant information where possible.
Group assignment requirements and format
Part A: Written Assignment
2500 words correctly referenced.
Times New Roman 1 1pt, Calibri 1 1pt or Arial, 1.5 lines spacing, Harvard (Anglia) references.
Groups need to support their report with a minimum of FOUR (4) suitable, reliable, and academically acceptable sources.
Part B: Oral Presentation
PowerPoint is recommended for the presentation.
The presentation will be based on Part A, with each group required to give a presentation of duration between 6 to 10 minutes.
