2. Taylor recently sustained a severe leg injury on her family's skiing trip, and she is now on bed rest for the next few days. Once she leaves her bed, she will be using a wheelchair for several weeks. Taylor is worried about what bed rest will be like and how she will handle the transition to a wheelchair. She worries that she will not be able to move any parts of her body. How would you explain to Taylor that she will be able to stay mobile in some ways during this time? 4. Angelica was injured in a tennis match and had to have major knee surgery. Her doctor wants her to use a knee brace for the next few weeks to help her knee heal properly. Angelica wants to learn more about this brace and other devices she has seen at the hospital. She wants to know if she will have to do anything special to take care of the brace. Give Angelica more details about the brace. Describe different types of immobilization devices and how they are managed for clients. Explain the care and use of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

5. The doctor just told Zachary that he was going need "rehab" on his left ankle after he had sprained it in a basketball game. Zachary was confused because he thought that "rehab" was a place for people suffering from addiction. "Where exactly am I going?" Zachary asked. "What is this 'rehab' all about?"
