Creating A Distribution and Assessing whether it is Normally Distributed Assignment - Second.
Instructions - Open the SPSS data labeled Exam Score, and conduct statistical analyses. The data shows Introduction to Psychology exam scores for 50 undergraduate students. Please find below the instructions: When you get on site, you will have to click on tab that says Exam Score to get assignment.
1. Using the frequencies command under descriptive statistics on SPSS, conduct a descriptive statistics analysis displaying frequencies for participants' exam scores. Your SPSS output should include the following:
- 'Statistics' table showing: sample size, mean, median, mode, Standard deviation, variance and range.
- 'Frequency' table of students' exam scores.
- 'Histogram' with a distribution curve.
Please address the following questions:
Based on the histogram, what conclusions can you make about the distribution in terms of the skewness and kurtosis?
What is the z score for a student who scored 65 in the Introduction to Psychology exam? Please calculate the following (showing how you arrived at your answer)

s = standard deviation
In addition to responding to the above questions, please save and submit the SPSS data output (i.e. viewer window).
