Case Study: Although tourism has the potential to earn foreign exchange, it carries a great risk of causing environmental and social harm. There is also a real concern noted in literature of a high leakage of revenue from the economy, and the exclusion of local businesses, particularly
micro and small enterprises from participating in the tourism driven economy.
