Overview: Healthcare organization boards are the top-level decision-making body for healthcare organizations. Nurses have slowly developed as leaders in healthcare organizations starting with positions as director of nursing and moving to positions of leadership that are responsible for more than just nursing services. Are nurse leaders ready for the next step?
