Consider Two hypothetical autosomal genes, a and b, where aheterozygote is testcrossed to a double- homozygous mutant. Predictthe phenotypic ratios under the following conditions:

a) a and b are located on seperate autsomes

b) a and b are linked on the same autosome, but are so farapart that a crossover almost always occurs

c) a and b are linked on the same autosome, bat are so closetogether that a crossove almost never occurs

d) a and b are linked on the same autosome about 10 muapart.

For part a, I figured a 1:1:1:1 ratio would occur (AaBb, Aabb,aaBb, aabb)

For part c, I figured a 1:1 ratio would occur (1/2 aaBb, 1/2Aabb)
