JM is a 45-year-old female admitted with alcohol intoxication. Would like to detox. She reports a 25-year history of alcohol dependence with multiple relapses. Reports history of withdrawal seizures. Current Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment Alcohol Scale Revised (CIWA-AR) is 18. She denies any past medical history. She denies taking any medications or other substance use. Her Labs are all normal except elevated LFTs.
