Cross cultural Negotiation

Imagine the following hypothetical scenario. The employees in the insurance companies in Singapore and Brazil were initially working 6 days a week. Due to common time practise by British Headquarters, the two home country (British) managers were instructed to get the workers to work 5 days a week. The salary on the 5 working day would be capped at 15% maximum of the monthly salary.

Briefly explain and demonstrate the effects of the cultural differences on the British manager's negotiation strategy.
