Task - Counselling Report (1200-1500 Words)

Students are required to complete a Counselling Report of their client concerning summaries from Assessment 1 and identified plans for Assessment 3. This report should be written to be presented at a multi-disciplinary meeting of care professionals associated with the client.
In the Counselling Report, students are required to:

Complete personal details of the client. o Name o Address o Date of birth/age o Other personal details that the Counsellor sees as relevant.

Write the client-identified goals (long and short-term) that were stated by the client during the counselling sessions.

Describe the counselling theories used to inform counselling, and the techniques and skills employed when working with the client (reference the text-book or other current sources). The Strategies that were developed with the client.

Identify appropriate techniques intending to be used when counselling the client in the next session to assist them reaching their goals. Any Referrals (if needed) and justification for them.

Include in-text references (e.g. definitions and techniques) and a reference list including all sources.

Students are to use APA 7 report format (with contents page and subheadings) and referencing, both in-text and reference list, and include excerpts from at least 8 credible, academic sources (ACA/PACFA Code of Ethics expected):
