Reflect on a difficult time in a work setting where you experienced conflict either with the organization as a whole or with a particular person(s) or manager. Include the following components in your discussion:

Describe the conflict.

Identify the type of conflict experience (based on the readings within the chapter) and how you managed or did not manage the conflict.

Provide one way that the outcome of the situation could have improved if you would have utilized good conflict management skills.

Question 2.

Do and outline plan for how you would approach a critical conversation (steps you would take) that needs to take place as a result of conflict. Two examples of how you could approach the conversation include:

Be clear about the issue (what is the behavior that is causing the issue?)

Know your objective (what do you hope to accomplish with this conversation?).
