Case Study: Develop a program for the following case: You are working with a collegiate athlete (you pick the sport and gender). They are a sophomore and are likely an intermediate lifter at this point; we will assume they've worked with a strength coach their freshman year. They sustained an injury during the summer participating in some activity (you pick the injury, but be specific). They have been cleared by the athletic training staff for resistance training and team conditioning. Even though they've been cleared, you still need to be cognizant of the injury.

Question: Address the following:

1. Demographics of the client/athlete/patient
2. In detail, describe the client, their goals, and limitations.
3. What is their experience: Are they a beginner, intermediate, or advanced lifter?
4. Do they have any injuries?
5. What amount of time is available before they need to reach their goal (if any)? This needs to be at least 6 months.
6. Limitations: Aside from injury, do they have children, a busy job, etc.
7. Conduct a Needs Analysis (see textbook for details)
8. Develop a micro-cycle:? Write a 4-week resistance training program following linear/traditional periodization. Be sure to include exercise selection and acute program variables. (See textbook for details if necessary).
9. Be sure to provide citations for your data, i.e., where did you get your bioenergetic demands, injury risk areas, biomechanical analysis of the sport, etc.
