Your task is to propose a plan to launch an new esports program at your college. This plan will need to include the basic details about the program and how you will recruit participants.

This assignment is an opportunity to take a creative, innovative approach to show your college how and why an esports program will positively contribute to your college community.

Note: If your college already has an esports team, your plan should focus on adding a new esports initiative or expanding the esports program in other ways.

Steps

1. Develop a list of 'Program Plans' to share with college administrative teams. If you are planning to start a team, this should include details about tryouts, evaluations, and competitions. If your college already has a team, this should include your plans for a new initiative. To earn full credit, follow the guidance in Resource 1.

2. Next, include a list of 'Other Program Goals' the team will regularly participate in. Details will include community service and other team-wide events to show your college admins that you understand that your program will positively affect the campus community. To earn full credit, follow the guidance in Resource 2.

3. Next, describe the 'Budget Requirements' for your proposed plans. Estimates are sufficient for this Step, but make sure you have included evidence to justify the budget dollars you are requesting by following the guidance in Resource 3.
