Can you please assist me with the case of a patient who is a 32-year-old female presenting to my clinic with a complaint of 3 days of worsening lower abdominal pain, fever, chills, vaginal discharge, dyspareunia, and nausea. Your examination reveals Samantha has a fever of 101 degrees F, lower abdominal tenderness on palpation, as well as cervical motion tenderness. You suspect pelvic inflammatory disease.
