Improving Team Performance Analysis: Describe a challenge or problem facing a team on which you are currently a member. Use the key concepts from the various chapters to analyze the factors that have created this challenge or problem.

Action: Drawing upon concepts about organizational change and communication, describe how you go about addressing this problem or challenge in terms of the key concepts. What type of change is needed in the team? How would you bring the problem to the team? How would you create support for the change? What would be the barriers to change and how might you overcome them? How would you address resistance?

Reflection: Describe your own strengths and weaknesses in terms of team, communication, and political skills. How will your strengths help increase the chances that you will succeed? How might your weaknesses create potential challenges and how might you overcome these?
