2. Reflect on a current or recent relationship, and think of some times where minor but unnecessary tension, conflict or defensiveness arose when you expressed a need or felt bothered by the person's behavior (regardless of whether or not you expressed it to them directly).

3. As you decide on an example for your post, choose a more minor annoyance or hurt (such as chores, pet peeves, constructive criticism taken badly, or other misunderstandings). Although owned messages are appropriate for many circumstances, for the purposes of the assignment avoid more intense, personal examples (for example, avoid deceit, cheating, or other betrayals).
