Question: In her TEDx Talk, Seconde Nimenya shared three strategies for how we can better accept others for who they are and, by doing so, begin to make the world a better place. Her three strategies are simple: 1) Start where you are. 2) Be brave. 3) Be flexible. Now, respond to the following points:

• Describe some of the best parts about your own culture (or lifestyle) that you feel encapsulates who you are as a person. Are there any aspects of yourself that you feel are not accepted by others in society (you do not have to provide details unless you want to do so)? Whether you concluded 'yes' or 'no', how does that make you feel?
• Using what you learned from Seconde Nimenya's presentation and this unit's reading, discuss how each of her three strategies can be applied to bring out the best parts of yourself to others, as well as how you can apply each strategy to better accept others for who they are, too. Elaborate on each strategy using examples and be sure to incorporate at least one social psychological concept into your response.
