Assignment:

1. You are creating a promotional program for a new vegan ice cream offered by Kawartha Dairy. It will be sold at the big 3 grocery retailers in Canada - Loblaws, Sobeys and Metro. You are asked to use a mix of different strategies to determine which is most effective.

  • Describe the differences between a "push" marketing strategy and a "pull" marketing strategy.

2. Briefly outline how both strategies might be used to sell more Kawartha Dairy's new vegan ice cream.

3. Identify the product life cycle stage for Kawartha Dairy's new vegan ice cream and a likely communications goal actually, I am not satisfied with parts 2 and 3 because i am confused that advertising on television comes under pull or push strategy and I write advertising in pull strategy but you write in the second part in push marketing strategy. can you please correct it because one tutor provide me the answer but I am confused and then I will explain the reason above?
