Overcrowding in prisons and jails has been a major challenge throughout corrections systems in the United States for decades. Throughout this course, we have covered the history of our correctional system, punishment, classification, incarceration, probation, juvenile justice, and reentry.
Reflecting back on what you have learned in this course, discuss the following topics.
