Case Study: The Board of the Jamaica Patty Company decided to build its market share internationally.
The company examined several options, including partnering with other Jamaican restaurants overseas. Jamaica Patty Company also investigated employing 100% overseas nationals in its international operations. Their main rival Jucifull Bakery recently expanded overseas.

The Board has considered operating in some countries that are known to have significant political risks. Management has examined several political risks associated with expansion, as well as some of their implications. The company has had several successes and billions of dollars in sales.
