Problem
Read the article "Improving Intelligence Analysis With Decision Science" and answer the following questions
1. Specify the main purpose of the reading. Specify the thesis.
2. Specify the three or four central or most important arguments made or pieces of evidence offered in the article/chapter to support the thesis. You need to avoid detailed summary here-we have all read the source. If your source describes original, empirical research, be sure to describe briefly what the researchers did and found.
3. Describe the points or concepts in the reading that are difficult to understand.
4. Specify the strengths and weaknesses of the article/chapter.
5. Specify what insights can be gained (or conclusions drawn) from the article/chapter. Here, be sure to address how the content of the source will help inform the major project in this class.
6. Make one connection to relevant (and specific) material external to the reading, such as a current news event, a film, a book, etc.
7. Discuss interesting questions that you and your classmates generate based on the source content. As discussion leaders, you should come prepared with at least two interesting discussion questions for your readings that are designed to stimulate class discussion. You won't necessarily have time to ask all of these questions, but it helps to come prepared. Also remember that each of your classmates will have written two discussion questions on the sources, and you are welcome to ask classmates to share their questions during your discussion of the article.
