Question: Describe plan for data analysis for demographic variables (descriptive statistical tests). Describe plan for data analysis of study variables (descriptive and inferential statistical tests) on pregnancy induced hypertension.
Research Question
Would early intervention and collaboration among healthcare providers, children, parents, and schools with family education on healthy eating habits, healthy lifestyle, and the importance of physical activity and interventions implemented positively impact a child's obesity?
Variables
While collecting the data would be instrumental in identifying the variables for the research. The independent variable for the proposed study will be "early intervention and collaboration among healthcare providers, children, parents, and schools with family education on healthy eating habits, healthy lifestyle, and the importance of physical activity and interventions." On the other hand, the dependent variable will be child obesity, which is defined by the BMI-for-age measurement in the pretest and posttest stages. The controlled variables for the study are age, gender, and other attributes unrelated to the research. The extraneous variables are the participants' diet and the physical activities they engage in outside school. The extraneous variables can be controlled by involving parents and guardians in the research process. Thus, the various aspects identified in this section will be used in the research process.
