Case: Jody is a 25 yo female presenting to see you in your Family Practice clinic for anxiety. She has had problems with anxiety since childhood but it has worsened in the past year. She graduated from college, moved out of her parents house, and is living alone. She has had what she describes as "panic attacks" on numerous occasions. She describes the episodes as typically occurring in social situations. She has a feeling of fear associated with sweating, racing heart rate, shaking, and a feeling of shortness of breath.

She has tried meditation to help control the symptoms but the episodes are occurring several times a week and are impacting her job. She is seeing a counselor who thinks that she may need medication(s) to help manage her symptoms. Recommend a treatment plan for Jody.
