Scenario

You are a student completing an internship with a local manufacturing company, and they have expressed an interest in possibly hiring you after your education has been completed.  In order to gauge how your skill set is so far, they have asked you to evaluate and describe the design and processes of four different companies and make recommendations.

Watch the 13:50-minute video (The Decline of KMart - What Happened? ) On google published by Company Man that tells of how Kmart got where they are today, their current situation, and predictions for the future of the company.  Then address the following:

  • Evaluate and describe K-Mart in terms of its process strategy and analysis. 
  • Make a recommendation of what they could have done to prevent closing. 
  • Include three scholary sources (including the video) to justify your findings/recommendations.
