John also has several cell phones in his possession that are listed as stolen. The court system includes several components: the prosecuting attorney, the defense attorney, the judge, the probation officer, and victim/witness services. Using the scenario from Lesson One, describe John Smith's experience in the adult court system. Explain the role of each key player in the court room as they relate to John Smith as the defendant. Revert to what you learned in Lesson Three pertaining to criminal defenses. Utilize a defense strategy to help explain the role of each key player in the court room.
