Legal- The US Environment Protection Agency, The Federal Railroad Administration and The United Transportation Union petitions for a review that the agency lacked jurisdiction to decide whether the Union Pacific Railroad Company had authority under the Collective Bargaining Agreement to name terminals for a new service the railroad had introduced in California.

Union Pacific Corporation is a rail transportation company. The company works Agricultural Products, Automotive, Chemicals, Energy, Industrial Products and Intermodal. It services all major routes of West Coast and Gulf Coast ports to Eastern gateways, which also gets connected with the Canada's rail systems and other major gateways to Mexico. The investigation of the economic environment shows that due to recovery time, there has been an increase in the request of the products, which increases the handling of the transportation of merchandise.
