Demographics: 75-year-old African American man
Living Situation: Lives with wife
Appointment Setting: Oncology clinic with colocated psychiatric care
Presentation: Appears to be hyperventilating, sweating, hands are shaking, reports he is feeling lightheaded. Wearing nasal cannula oxygen. Accompanied by his wife.
Summary:
Terminal Lung Cancer and Panic attacks.
Panic attacks triggered by difficulty breathing and anything that reminds him of cancer, including coming to the oncology clinic.
