Problem: Find an example of post hoc, ergo propter hoc. In other words, find an argument that faultily claims causality between two things, simply because one thing occurred before the other. Analyze the claim. Describe any qualifiers that make the claim specific. Analyze (and list) the reasons/evidence for the claim. Describe how the arguer uses reasons/evidence to support the claim, even though it's a case of faulty causality. Now, go back and re-assess the claim. Describe how you would put qualifiers on it, to make it less fallacious. Discuss how your newly qualified claim affects the types of reasons/evidence that would be required to support the qualified claim.
