Assignment: Interview Case Study

Screening, interviewing and selection process of Dolton School District 148 Interview your principal, HR Director or equivalent. Describe your school's process for screening, interviewing, and selecting new staff. Write a three to four-page paper in which you explain the process and address the following:

A. Opening: Describe how staffing is allocated to the school building, how it is further allocated within the building and how positions are tracked and monitored.

B. Screening Process: Describe how staff are screened for possible interviews; software and/or testing utilized, if any.

C. Interviewing Process: Describe how staff are interviewed; who is involved, whether there is a rating instrument, demo lesson, etc., how many rounds.

D. Selection Process: Describe how the selection decision is made and who is involved.

E. Best Practices/Research: Research the best practices in the screening, interviewing and selection process and supports their response.

F. Reflection: Reflect on their district's process versus best practices.
