In your first assignment, you will consider how you are going to solve one major environmental challenge facing Canadians today. You will describe both the problem and your solution using science to back your findings.

PART 1: Which environmental problem are you going to tackle?

For the environmental challenge you are working with, please do the following

(a) Explain the reasons why you have chosen this particular environmental challenge.

(b) Identify scientific sources to validate that this is an environmental concern in Canada.

(c) Describe how you are going to measure this environmental challenge. This is referred to as the measured variable in your assignment.

Part 2: What is your action plan to solve this environmental challenge? For the environmental challenge you are working with, please do the following:

(a) Describe how you plan to solve your environmental challenge.

(b) Identify scientific sources to prove that your solution to the environmental challenge is valid.

(c) Describe how you are going to measure that your solution was effective. What positive effect did your implemented changes have on the measured variable?
